So i was put-putting along to work today in the silver bullet (aka my suzuki swift) when I heard on the radio that today was Hogs n' Dogs! How did this sneak up on me?! For those of you not in the know hogs and dogs is a big motorcycle and classic car rally in my hometown of West Richland, WA. Its getting bigger every year and this year is drawings some 5000 motorcycles or something crazy like that. There will be tunes from 97 rock and all the pork byproducts cooked in warm water that you can handle!
Then I realized, holy crap, hogs n dogs weekend is also Cool Desert Nights weekend, a big muscle car show in my other home town of (non-west)Richland! Until this morning I had nothing to look forward to this weekend except a friend of a friends wedding reception. Now I can plan on having a giant testosterone shot into my system as I go drool over custom choppers and bad-A muscle cars! I flipping love that kind of stuff, and its exactly what i need to keep me from going loco in la cabasa at work today and tomorrow. I can already feel the gentle rumble of a suped up big block chevy v8!
I think the reason i secretly love muscle car shows and stuff so much is that it gives me a chance to show off my knowledge of classic cars and engines. I was telling Tiffany (my wife) yesterday that in order to retain my manliness, I have to counter my generally wussy job of accounting with lots of manly stuff when i'm not at work. Thats why I love meat, sports, muscle cars, hot chicks, and rock and roll baby! See you out there!
