"summer time and the living's easy"

Well the weather over here in Tri-Cities, WA has finally decided to act its age and warm up, I mean its flippin June and it was cold and rainy just a few weeks ago. I'm glad to see that the weather is getting toasty and i'm looking forward to all the sweet summer fun. I'm pretty sure that every kid that is a product of the public school system has this ingrain love for summer for life. Last week was the end of the school year for kids around here and i'll admit it kind of made me jealous, i'm half tempted to become a teacher so i can experience that feeling of freedom for 2 1/2 months a year instead of withering away in my fluorescent lightbulb lit cubicle far away from natural sunlight! But I digress... I guess the only downside of summer time is that my suzuki swift has no air conditioning so by the time I get anywhere i'm usually sweating like a toasted cheeser, but another year or two and maybe i'll get a new ride with some AC and some guts, although I will mention that for the first time in my life i'm not partially ashamed to be driving a suzuki swift when i pull up next to a guy in a F-350 Super Duty Diesel because i'm zipping around at about 35 mpg and he's getting about 12 mpg, so it makes me feel smart even though i know he could back his truck right over my car and probably not even feel it...
